If you just can’t wait to check out some of the new features in Moodle 2.0, you’ll be pleased to hear about our new Moodle QA testing site. As for the Moodle demonstration site, you can login as a teacher, student or admin, and the database and files are erased and restored to a clean state every hour.
As the name suggests, the new site is intended for use with Moodle QA / functional testing, MDLQA-1. However, we won’t be starting this until Moodle 2.0 beta is released (hopefully on 1st March 2010 according to the latest timetable in the Roadmap). In the meantime, feel free to login to the Moodle QA testing site any time and see how the latest daily build of HEAD is looking.
If you’re wondering where Moodle 2.0 bugs should be reported, as always, please use the Moodle Tracker. If you’re not sure whether something is a bug or a new feature, please post in the Testing and QA forum.
I never heard of Moodle till I stumbled across it here. Bookmarked because I keep a list of education-related resources, anything away from the mainstream and, yech, schooling, which as any fule kno is entirely different from education. Funny how you meet people!

Great information, thanks for posting. Key to School and Ninehub are free hosting sites and are additional ways to get familiar with Moodle.
